About the poets:
Adrienne Novy [she/her/hers] is a teaching artist and Bettering American Poetry and Pushcart Prize nominee currently living in Saint Paul, MN. She is the author of trisomy 22 and Crowd Surfing With God (Half Mystic Press, 2018). Her work can be found in FreezeRay Poetry, Harpoon Review, Button Poetry, NAILED Magazine, Maudlin House, and most recently in Crab Fat Magazine. She loves My Chemical Romance and she loves being alive.

Valin Paige [she/her/hers] is a spoken word poet from Chicago, Illinois and began her poetry career in Ames, Iowa. She is a disabled trans woman who writes about her identities, various topics like trauma, queer love, and her time as a punk poet bartender in small town Iowa.  She has a spoken word album titled Bleed Through, published through Gun Tongue Records and Spacement, is published on Button Poetry, and is a recipient of the William C. Jumper poetry award from Iowa State University. She can be found on instagram and facebook under Valin Paige.

E.J. Schoenborn [they/them/their] is a white, nonbinary trans femme spoken word poet and rural trans-plant from Wisconsin living in St. Paul, Minnesota. Most of their written work touches on the intersection of (trans)gender & queer identity, mental illness, working class & rural life, rape/sexual assault as a survivor, and their favorite animal -- the opossum. Their poetry has been nominated for the 2018 Best of the Net Anthology and has been published in FreezeRay Poetry, Runestone Literary Journal, Rising Phoenix Review, The Holy Shit Journal, Voicemail Poems, Cerurove, Button Poetry, and more.
