Join us in the store on Thursday, January 25th at 7:00 PM for a reading and presentation by members of the Loft Peace and Social Justice Writer's Group. Members will be reading from their new anthology, "Turning Points: Discovering Meaning and Passion in Turbulent Times." Readers include Phillip Lund, Burt Berlowe, Jacqueline Mosio, Robbie Orr, and Roy Wolff. Featuring live music by Pocket of Resistance, with a book signing to follow.
"Turning Points: Discovering Meaning and Passion in Turbulent Times" features riveting accounts of how the turning points in the lives of the authors over the past half-century led them to a passion for changing the world through writing and activism, and how those lessons can be applied to today’s challenging times. Audience members will be encouraged to share their own turning point stories.
