Ellen Hart is the author of thirty-four crime novels in two different series. She is a six-time winner of the Lambda Literary Award for Best Lesbian Mystery, a four-time winner of the Minnesota Book Award for Best Popular Fiction. In April of 2018, Ellen was named a Grand Master by Mystery Writers of America, the highest achievement in mystery history. For the past seventeen years, she has taught "An Introduction to Writing the Modern Mystery" through The Loft Literary Center, the largest independent writing community in the nation. She lives in Eden Prairie with her partner of thirty-nine years.
J.M. Redmann has published nine novels featuring New Orleans PI Micky Knight. Her first book was published in 1990, one of the early hard boiled lesbian detectives. her books have won three Lambda Literary awards. "The Intersection of Law & Desire" was an Editor's Choice of the San Francisco Chronicle and a recommended book by Maureen Corrigan of NPR's Fresh Air. The newest book is "The Girl on the Edge of Summer." Writing as R. Jean Reid, "Roots of Murder" was published by Midnight Ink in the summer of 2016 with the new book, "Perdition," to be released in June.
Jessie Chandler is the award-winning author of the Shay O'Hanlon Caper Series, a dramedy starring a lesbian protagonist who tries to mind her own business but keeps stumbling into lots of terrible trouble. Jessie lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota with her wife and two always-hungry mutts, Fozzy Bear and Ollie.
