Stefan Lovasik is a U.S. Army combat veteran. During the Vietnam War, he served with Special Operations Command. His poetry has appeared in First Literary Review, Gravel Literary, Main Street Rag, Meat for Tea: The Valley Review, Offcourse, and Pedestal Magazine, among others. He is a seven-time nominee for a Pushcart Prize and his first collection, Persona and Shadow (FlutterPress, 2015), was praised by Bruce Weigl and Jan Beatty. His new collection, Absolution, will be published this fall by Main Street Rag Publishing.
John Amen is the author of several collections of poetry, including strange theater (New York Quarterly Books, 2015), a finalist for the 2016 Brockman-Campbell Award and work from which was chosen as a finalist for the 2016 Dana Award. His latest collection, Illusion of an Overwhelm, was released by New York Quarterly in April 2017. His poetry, fiction, reviews, and essays have appeared in journals nationally and internationally, and his poetry has been translated into Spanish, French, Hungarian, Korean, and Hebrew. He founded and continues to edit The Pedestal Magazine.
