David Grindberg presents 'Rapture of the Deep'

The book opens with a wife being told of the disappearance and probable death of her husband. From that moment on, virtually no one is who he or she seems to be. Told as a flashback, the author skillfully tells a story of the previous eighteen months filled with crime, deception, disloyalty, and crumbling relationships. The writing flows seamlessly in a literary, poetic tone using many metaphors for expressing depth of meaning. Water, fire, light and darkness are all used interestingly throughout the book.

David Grindberg is a writer, college instructor, husband, father, grandfather, pheasant hunter, scuba diver, and now a novelist.  Rapture of the Deep, his first major work, is contemporary fiction and is published by IndianGrass Books.  A native Iowan, Dave and his wife, Jill, are the parents of four children and call Fort Dodge, Iowa their home.
